OwnStack Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing or using OwnStack, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement where you live.

2. What OwnStack provides

OwnStack is a bilingual launch-guidance platform that provides registration links, step-by-step instructions, cautions, and progress tracking for third-party development tools. OwnStack does not create, approve, or manage third-party accounts for you and does not guarantee account approval, deployment success, or payment-provider approval.

3. Accounts and security

• Provide accurate information and protect your Google or email sign-in method.
• You are responsible for activity under your OwnStack account. Contact support immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
• OwnStack does not request or store third-party passwords, verification codes, or complete payment-card details.

4. One Project Pass

• Launch-offer places are awarded in the order projects are successfully created, with 20 places in total and one free project per OwnStack account. The displayed count is a live estimate; eligibility is final only when the system successfully reserves a place during project creation.
• A free promotional project includes the same launch route and progress-saving features as a paid pass, but has no payment or refund.
• Each payment provides one project-creation credit.
• The credit is consumed when you create a project and cannot be transferred to another project or account.
• Creating another project requires another purchase. There is no automatic renewal.
• The price does not include domain, hosting, database, email, payment-processing, or other third-party fees.

5. Payments and refunds

Creem processes checkout, receipts, applicable transaction taxes, and payment information as merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to the terms shown by Creem at checkout. Refund requests are handled under the OwnStack Refund Policy.

6. Third-party platforms

GitHub, Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, Resend, Creem, Stripe, and other external services are operated by their respective providers and governed by their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and eligibility rules. OwnStack does not control changes, outages, rejected applications, or data practices of these services.

7. Your code, accounts, and intellectual property

You retain ownership of your code, repositories, domains, databases, project content, and third-party accounts. OwnStack grants you a limited, non-transferable personal right to access guidance for the project you purchased.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use OwnStack for illegal, fraudulent, infringing, harmful, or security-disrupting activity, or attempt to bypass payment, access controls, or technical restrictions.

9. Availability and service changes

We use reasonable efforts to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update guidance, supported providers, or functionality in response to technical, security, legal, or third-party changes.

10. Community-tested content

Users may submit reports about payments, registration, and regional availability. Community content is not an official guarantee from a provider or OwnStack; it only reports that a method worked under the contributor’s stated conditions and date. Do not submit passwords, verification codes, complete card details, private keys, false identity information, or content encouraging violations of law or third-party terms. OwnStack may review, edit, reject, mark stale, or remove submissions.

11. Disclaimer

OwnStack provides general technical guidance and educational information, not legal, tax, financial, accounting, cybersecurity, or investment advice. You are responsible for independent decisions about your project, compliance, data protection, and third-party configuration.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OwnStack is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of code, data, revenue, opportunity, or profit. OwnStack’s total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you actually paid OwnStack during the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law does not allow that limitation.

13. Suspension, termination, and changes

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, engage in suspected fraud, or create risk for the service. We may update these Terms as the service or law changes, and will post material changes on the website. These Terms are governed by applicable law without limiting mandatory consumer rights available to you.
